University of Pavia
SPOKE 6 - Natural Biodiversity Future Center
THE PROJECT
The University of Pavia, through the Laboratory of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition directed by Prof. Hellas Cena, is an active part of the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC), funded by the PNRR with NextGenerationEU funds. The project “Nourishing Biodiversity” combines art, science and food education to raise awareness among younger generations about the link between human health, biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
ACTIVITIES
For the launch of the “Nourishing Biodiversity” project, we managed 360° press office activities, handling all communication phases:
- Pre-event media relations – Informing journalists and presenting the artistic-scientific concept
- Interview organization – Coordination of radio and TV interviews with scientific representatives and curator Cristina Ciusa
- Active press office – Stimulating press coverage in the pre and post event phases of November 18 at the Primary School on via Bergognone in Milan
- Press release management – Writing and distribution of press materials with focus on the site-specific experience that involved over 80 children
The project saw the participation of institutional and technical partners, including the Primary School on via Bergognone and Pellegrini Brera Bottega d’Arte Milano, transforming the school courtyard into an artistic laboratory where children became ambassadors of food biodiversity.
